"The Lord works from the inside out. The world works from the outside in. The world would take people out of the slums. Christ takes the slums out of people, and then they take themselves out of the slums. The world would mold men by changing their environment. Christ changes men, who then change their environment. The world would shape human behavior, but Christ can change human nature."

Mindset

Your mindset dramatically affects everything in your life. In Exodus 18:3-6, Moses is naming his sons. We know there is power in a name. Moses named his first son Gershom, meaning foreiner. He named him that because he felt he was a foreigner in a foreign land. Moses one decision of naming his son based on his mindset, set his son up for the rest of his life.
